You will be amazed at our beautiful city park system.
Encompassing over 30 individual parks and recreation areas, you are invited to explore the natural beauty and serenity of the parks that were designated long ago by Hutchinson’s founding fathers. Take some time to discover the scenic Luce Line State Trail as it meanders alongside the Crow River through Hutchinson. The 63-mile trail is open year-round and is great for biking, hiking, snowmobiling, or horseback riding.
The Hutchinson area provides many opportunities for year round recreation.
In the winter months, explore our ice rinks and many trails for: snowmobiling, cross country skiing, or snowshoeing. When warmer weather arrives, play a round of golf at one of our beautiful 9 or 18-hole courses, or try our disc golf for a change of pace. Bowl a few frames with friends or cool off at the Hutchinson Family Aquatic Center. If you enjoy something a little more extreme, paintball could be a great option for you.
If biking is your hobby, Hutchinson has many options for you. Enjoy a long ride along the Luce Line State Trail. Also, new to Hutchinson is a terrain park with many fun obstacles to try. You could even join in on one of the many community bike rides.
