The March Food Drive Challenge is in full swing! Have you donated yet? The McLeod County Emergency Food Shelf has a goal of raising 100,000 pounds of donations during the month of March. Donations collected during March are matched by Minnesota Food Share Network, making this a critical time to stock the shelves. You did see the word “challenge” in that first sentence, right? This is a challenge between Hutchinson, Glencoe, Lester Prairie, Winsted, Silver Lake, and Plato, to see who can bring in the most donations per capita. Plato has been the winner the last couple of years, and we think it is time for Hutchinson to win! To help make this happen you may drop off your donations at the locations listed below.
