Act your age….or don’t, is the November business of the month. Chris Brecht was born and raised in the area. Her inspirational character led her to the idea of creating a store for young kids to have the opportunity to have unique and quality toys for enjoyment and learning. With a husband and two young girls at home, she took off with her dream and made it happen. In 2018 she opened ForTykes in the Hutchinson, MN Mall. Successfully being the sole proprietor of the coolest toy store in McLeod County, she was hoping to make it even better. When the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020 came along, she decided to expand. Planning, organizing, and crazy ideas started quickly. After months of working diligently to make it happen, ACT YOUR AGE LLC was created and opened on November 18, 2020. Since expanding Chris has welcomed a third girl to their little family. She loves being able to share the dream with her growing family. The main objective is to have a place of happiness, fun, memories, and to be able to feel like a kid no matter your age. They sell toys, games, and gifts for all ages. Candy, popcorn, and Minnesota made sodas. We are constantly in search of the most unique items to add to the store so you are bound to find something!
