Hometown Golf Challenge
Lights, Camera, Golf! We are excited to have some fun at the Hometown Golf Challenge this year, and we want to let you in on it too! This is a fun, and easy event to highlight your business at. There are typically 100 golfers each year, and they look forward to not only golfing, but interacting with other local business people. There are many different sponsorship opportunities available, click here to decide which opportunity is best for your business.
*Golfer registration forms will be available June 1.
Something from Mary
I have had several questions lately about business safety.
Not safety- OSHA. Safety- overall in doing business and with whom and where you do business.
There are many things to consider when you are doing business: protection of assets, technology safety, breach of confidentiality, breach of trust… anything which could be detrimental to the health and well-being of your business. Here are a few things to consider.
May Business of the Month
Kudos to the Hutchinson area businesses which supported McLeod Emergency Food Shelf (MEFS) as collection locations during the 2016 MN FoodShare March Campaign:
City of Hutchinson
Edina Realty – David Broll
Hutchinson Area Health Care
Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce and Tourism
Jay Malone Motors
Food and funds collected during the campaign provide for at least 80,380 meals right here in McLeod County! That’s nearly a quarter of our annual distribution! Hutchinson also tied with Lester Prairie for the local competition to “Give Where You Live” with just over 3.5 $/#’s per person! J Plato and Glencoe earned 1st and 2nd place honors with 14.7 & 5.7 $/#’s per person. Thank you Hutchinson!
