Small Business Saturday

Do your holiday shopping on Small Business Saturday and support our community in a big way! Small Business Saturday is one of our favorite community events. The Chamber Board has once again decided to support local businesses with payments towards shopper’s purchases. The smiles we see from store owners, and the shoppers, are what make this day stand out for us. It’s always great to see so many people out shopping with loved ones, while supporting our local businesses. We hope to see you shopping in Hutchinson on November 25th!

Businesses, this is your day to shine! We want to help you with that. Once again our Bring It Home Committee has some fun planned.

Taste of the Holidays

Do you have your tickets yet?! Don’t wait to purchase yours, this event has sold out the last several years, and you don’t want to miss it! Taste of the Holidays will be held Thursday, November 16 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Crow River Winery. Tickets are $15 in advance. Advanced sale tickets can be purchased from any Hutchinson Ambassador or at our office.  If all the advance sale tickets are not sold before the event they will be $20 at the door.

This event will not only give you great holiday gift ideas, you will get to sample tasty treats from many food and beverage vendors.  Come hungry, your tummy will thank you!

Each fall the Hutchinson Agri-Business Committee, along with the Glencoe Agri-Business Committee, gather donations of food, wellness and safety items from Chamber Members. The donated items are packed and hand delivered to the local farmers out in the field during harvest time. These items are sincerely appreciated by the farmers. Thank you to all the businesses that donated items this year!

Community Awards & Banquet

Save the Date: Friday, January 19, 2018 – “Let’s Make a Deal” to join us for the Hutchinson Chamber Annual Banquet! More information to come!

Table Tent Deadline: December 1st, 2017!

Are you planning an event for January, February or March 2018?  Make sure you get your event added to the Table Tents!  The deadline to add events for the 1st quarter is December 1, 2017.  The cost is $20/listing for Chamber Members and $30/listing for non-members.  We print 900 table tents and deliver them around the community.  An image of the table tent is also shared on social media.  The last time we shared an image of the table tent on our Facebook page, it had over 2,000 views!  To submit an event email Ashley or call 234-0789.

Retail isn’t dead. Small Businesses aren’t dying.

On-line shopping isn’t going away.

There is room for both. Room for both doesn’t mean there isn’t a need for change. AHHHH- the dreaded CHANGE word. How about Refresh? Update? Possibilities? Transformation? Revolution? Revenue?
