Stop Shop Drop
We are excited that March is here, not only because with March comes Spring, but because Stop Shop Drop is coming up! Join us on March 21, 2015 for this city wide shopping event. If your business has not yet signed up to participate, there is still time, just email Mary, call the Chamber office, or register on the Stop Shop Drop blog post. The blog post does contain a list of participating businesses. While you are out shopping on March 21 you may see our Bring It Home Committee Members! That’s right, they are at it again. This time they will be thanking shoppers for supporting Hutchinson Businesses, and randomly handing out gift cards at local businesses. We look forward to seeing you out and about on March 21!

Something from Mary
It’s time to say “Good Luck” to Angela as she leaves the chamber to return to the world of banking.
This change at the Chamber, leaves us reminded of the importance of procedures for tasks for any staff in the office, or perhaps in other cases- out of the office.

Thank You!
It’s hard to believe that it has been over 6 years since I first walked through the door here at the Chamber office. It has been an AMAZING journey! Though I am sad to leave, I am excited for the new opportunity that awaits me on Monday morning. The Chamber has given me a great sense of what our wonderful community has to offer and I am looking forward to staying involved whenever possible. So, it’s not a ‘Good Bye’, but it is definitely a ‘Thank You!’ I look forward to seeing you all at both Chamber and community events!

The sponsorship form is posted at the end of this newsletter, in the “Extras” section, or you may email Melissa for the form. Music in the Park

March Food Drive
The 2015 Minnesota Food Share March Campaign is here! This food drive assists the McLeod Emergency Food Shelf with their efforts to service McLeod County.
The Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce & Tourism, Glencoe Area Chamber of Commerce, Lester Prairie Business Association, Winsted Chamber of Commerce, Plato, Brownton, Stewart, and Silver Lake Business Association will once again be assisting in the campaign with the goal of raising more than 100,000 pounds of donations in the month of March.
Donations collected during the month of March are matched-in-part by Minnesota Food Share Network, making this a critical time to restock the shelves at the local food shelf.
Businesses interested in participating and/or acting as a public donation site may contact Melissa or call the chamber office at 320-587-5252.
