Bring It Home Family Fun & Business Expo
Registration for the Bring It Home Expo is now available. Register by March 4th to take advantage of early-bird pricing! Are you not familiar with the Bring It Home Expo? This event is a great way to showcase to our community what your business does. All participating businesses/organizations must be located within a 10 mile radius of Hutchinson. The Bring It Home Committee hosts this event to showcase what is in Hutchinson, and remind our community members that there is no need to leave Hutchinson to get the things and services that you may need.
This one day Expo is popular in our community, and with all age ranges. There are activities for children and a food court set up for people to sit, relax, and enjoy some local food options.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 19! Stop Shop Drop is a city-wide shopping event. The Chamber does advertise this event outside of Hutchinson, and locally. It is a great day for our businesses to showcase what they have to offer. New this year – BINGO! The first 25 businesses to sign up can have their business listed on the BINGO card. All it takes to participate is a $25 gift card. The gift cards will then be used as prizes for shoppers who complete a BINGO. We want to make sure people are stopping into your business, and seeing all the great things you have!
Welcome to our newest Chamber Members!
THANK YOU to our renewing Members!
Business of the Month
Music in the Park 2016
Sunshine, green grass, popcorn wagon, band shell… that all sounds so lovely. Let’s take some time and think about Music in the Park! Planning is already beginning for this local summer tradition. We can’t do it without you! We are searching for bands, social hosts, and sponsors. We can’t make these weekly events happen without you.
2016 March Food Drive
It’s time to gear up for the 2016 Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign, which benefits the McLeod County Food Shelf! The Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign is the largest collection of financial and food support for McLeod Emergency Food Shelf (MEFS) each year. EVERY dollar and EVERY pound raised is reported and then eligible for a match in relation to the total raised and the total number of people MEFS serves.
What does that mean to you? Personally? Professionally? For your organization?
For me, personally, and professionally, I want to grow, improve skills, increase my knowledge base, and understand others better.
For the chamber, I want these things also. I want it for staff, our board of directors, and volunteers.
