In 2014, President Obama directed the Secretary of Labor to update the overtime regulation to reflect the original intent of the Fair Standards Act, and to simplify and modernize the rules so they’re easier for workers and businesses to understand and apply. The Chamber is here to help you better understand the rules of the new overtime regulation. On August 31st a Human Resource Overtime Ruling Information Session will be held at the Chamber, the session is provided by Gislason & Hunter. This session will help you learn how the new Department of Labor Overtime Ruling will affect your salaried employees and steps to be in compliance by December 1st, 2016.
